This "Tarta de poma", as we call it in Catalan, is the apple cake my grandma used to make for my birthday and other special occasions.

It is packed with apples, so it feels very light and fresh.

It is super moist, and when I make it at home, it just disappears in a blink of an eye!

Tarta de Poma

  • Store the Tarta de Poma  in an airtight container in a cool place for 1 to 2 days, or in the fridge for up to 5 days. In warm climates it is better to store the cake in the fridge. The cake can be removed from the fridge an hour before serving to let it come back to room temperature.
